10_hurt_comfort. A fic I started last November (and shelved because chapter 89 made me too happy to go on with it at the time. XD) Title based on a fake bible verse from my favorite British sitcom, "The Vicar of Dibley." (It was part of a very amusing running gag, but I always thought that fake verse was a lot more beautiful and evocative than most of the real ones.) Also, I don't see them being romantically involved in this fic, but it can work as the first step in a buildup toward a romance, if you like. :)
( As soon as he heard the boot heels, Havoc did his best to pull himself out of his slump and be cheerful for Mustang’s visit. )
