Art dump! FMA, Mushishi, Gurren Lagann, Yu Yu Hakusho, Watchmen, OCs

From time to time I like to clean out my sketchbooks/hard drives/margins of notebooks/etc and post things.

Today we have some Fullmetal Alchemist (Royai, Havoc/Roy, and some gen) some quick doodles from Mushishi, Gurren Lagann, Yu Yu Hakusho and Watchmen fandoms, and some lulzy original/non-fandom content.

Riza with very long hair. Rescued from a pile of cinema as lit notes.

Royai pic done for [livejournal.com profile] springkink a while back. Actually, I don't think I ever posted it there. >_> Prompt was something like "barefoot Amazon." Not really finished, but as finished as it's going to get.

Really crappy early attempt in Flash. XD It's Jean's, "oh look, Roy's in bed with me... HOLY SHIT ROY'S IN BED WITH ME" reaction. Even though it sucks laughably hard, I still think it's a bit cute. One day, I'll actually learn how to use Flash. One day...

Another doodle rescued from my lecture notes. I take notes on blank paper now, just so my doodles won't have the Blue Lines of Doom.

Other Fandoms:

Ginko from Mushishi. I wish I hadn't colored it. :(

Various chibis, collected from notes.
Kamina and Yoko from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. Hiei from Yu Yu Hakusho. Rorschach and Dr. Manhattan from Watchmen.

Random doodles:

The Loch Ness Monster talking to a highland cow (hi'lan' coo). I drew it on the train when I was in Sccotland, coming back from Inverness (where, incidentally, I wish I was now.) Nessie is saying, "Git outta me loch, ya bloody coo."

Bottom of a page of Japanese Literature notes. The thing on the left is from a discussion about Essays in Idleness. One of the stories in it is about a monk who eats potatoes all the time. So many that he spent an entire inheritance on them. We'd just been talking about the Tale of Genji manga, and my professor said something about how you could make these stories into manga. So the monk asks another monk if he wants some potatoes, and the other monk says hell no, because everyone's sick of this guy and his damn potatoes. The cricket and the radish came from one of the Essays as well.

The things on the right are my original characters. Phoebe and Sol, who are the Moon and the Sun, and Claude (a lobster boy) and Ilya (and eel boy). Sometimes I draw little comics with these chaacters, but not that often.

Well, that's it for now. XD Hope you found something worthwhile.
